Ohh, generic landscapes...

This was my try to do so, I hope you like it!
Several hours spent in photoshop with intuos4.

A remarkable piece that has both an appealing color scheme as well as a good composition. The rocks are formed in a fairly unnatural way giving the image, with the colors, an alien atmosphere that works really well in here. Also, these rocks are nicely painted out; not too heavily detailed so that they do not take away from the subject.

Speaking of the subject, it is in a nice contrast to the background, really helping to bring it out. Sadly, it is not as detailed as it could have been. Seeing that this is the main focal point of the image, it should contain a little more details to give the viewer the chance to study the ship a little closer.

Value-wisely, it feels like the full spectrum has not been used. The darks are not entirely black whilst the brights are not entirely white. I guess, bumping up the levels could help increasing the contrasts and make the image appear less washed out. If you are, instead, going for that washed-out-look, you could also try to overlay some "artifacts", similar to the speckles and scratches often seen in old photos.

To help bringing in a bit more dynamics, it could look nice with some particles flying around. For example, the ship could have those close to the exhaust or some could have been blown onto the lens (or are hovering closely in front of it).

Overall, a really neat piece. Keep up the nice work!
